Back at the end of last year Essence came with three textured polishes (which are still patiently waiting in my untrieds pile… shame on me!), as known as the Sparkle Sand Effect line. Recently they added a few more textured polishes. One of them is Hello Rosy, a sort of vintage pink hue packed with matte pink glitter. I especially like this one for it’s unique color. I used two coats, no top coat. Formula is okay, not perfect but definitely nothing to complain about. I did a quick swatch with last years red polish from this line and this one dries faster.

Sally Hansen: Pink Sprinkle – Sugar Coat
And the love for textured polishes continues…
A huge thanks to Soraya for sending me Pink Sprinkle from the Sugar Coat Collection by Sally Hansen!I used three thin coats for the photo above. This has a jelly-isch base with matte textured finish. It has a tiny bit of golden shimmer. I’m a fan of this gorgeous cranberry color. Perfect for Summer 😀

Catrice – Sand’ Sation – Luxury Lacquers
Hi everyone!
In previous post I’ve showed you the Holomania polishes (holographic) and the Chameleon polishes (duo chrome) from Catrice‘s Luxury Lacquers. Today I’d like to show you the eight Sand’ Sation polishes, which all have a textured finish. Instead of eight separate swatches I’ve created a little nail art with them. If you’d like to see (some of) them separately, let me know 😉

Zoya: Carter – Pixie Dust
When seeing swatches of Zoya‘s Carter by Gimme All The Polish (who is repeatedly killing me with all her fantastic swatches) I knew I needed to get my hands on it. And it’s no surprise that I love it! LOVE! The formula is perfect. I used three thin coats here:Now take a look at how it looks with top coat:
Wow! A mind blowing polish, don’t you think?
Rimmel London – Space Dust Collection
China Glaze: Wish On A Starfish – Sea Goddess Collection
Have you noticed that more and more brands come up with entire textured collections? They’re everywhere! I don’t mind, I love them!
Today I have Wish On A Starfish from China Glaze‘s Sea Goddess Collection to show you. This is a pale pink with golden shimmer running throughout. I’ve used two coats for the picture below:It’s a pity that the golden shimmer doesn’t show up in my picture. It’s lovely!
How does this compare to Catrice’s Call Me Princess?Wish On A Starfish is obviously a lighter shade of pink. Also I think the golden shimmer in Call Me Princess is slightly more noticeable than Wish On A Starfish. They’re both pretty! Formula wise they’re quite similar. They both need two coats for full opacity.

OPI: Lapis & Pewter – Designer Series
OPI has added two gorgeous polishes to their Designer Series Collection: Raw Granite. These both have a satin-isch textured finish and have a great formula. Their not as gritty as the Liquid Sand polishes. Let’s take a closer look to these pretties!

Gosh: Frosted Silver & Frosted Gold
Hi loves!
I hope you’re all enjoying a fantastic weekend! Today I’d like to show you two polishes that are perfect for the Holidays:The silver shade is called Frosted Silver and the gold one Frosted Gold (what else? ;)), both by Gosh. These polishes both have a textured finish. They’re slightly rough but not annoyingly gritty. The gold one is a little denser than the silver one, so you could get away with just one coat 🙂 I used two coats of both here with no top coat.
What do you think of these? Have you thought of what polish(es) to wear during the Holidays?
OMD Challenge Giveaway: Textured
Remember that I told you about my doubts about whether to buy OPI’s Solitaire or not? Well, after seeing so much swatches I couldn’t resist. And I thought the Textured theme of the ‘Oh Mon Dieu! It’s the Rather Awesome 31 Day Challenge Giveaway’ is the perfect opportunity to share it with you. I’m so happy with it! I simply love it:Shown here is two coats without top coat.
