Polish Revolution

Today I have six polishes by Polish Revolution to show you! Lauryn, the founder of PR was generous enough to send me these for review 🙂 Let’s have a look!polish revolution collageAll swatches are two coats plus top coat and the pictures are taken in daylight.

Eleganza, a creamy light purple base with brown, copper, and holographic, orange and turquoise glitter. I think this would also look pretty when layered over a pastel base.polish revolution eleganza
Florals… For Spring?, a creamy light blue base with orange, blue, periwinkle and lilac multi sized glitter.polish revolution florals for spring
Glitterbox, a mix of iridescent and holographic square glitters in a variety of sizes. The holographic squares are pink, blue, purple and silver. There is also an amazing purple shimmer! I’ve used two coats of Glitterbox over one coat of Zoya’s Purity (ring) and China Glaze’s For Audrey (index, middle and pinky).polish revolution glitterbox
Grin and Bare It, a milky nude base, brown, copper, iridescent and periwinkle glitter.polish revolution grin and bare it
Summer State of Mind, a coral jelly base with turquoise holographic hexes, metallic turquoise squares, matte white and pink hexes, and a hot pink flaky shimmer that shows really well in direct light and the sun. I thought this one would look nice over a white base (ring) because there are white hexes in the mix, but I like it way better on it’s own. Makes me think of watermelon 🙂polish revolution summer state of mind
Zombie Gardens, a creamy gray base with purple, pink, yellow, green, yellow and turquoise glitter.polish revolution zombie gardensFINAL THOUGHTS:
The formula of all of these is good. No fishing and/or replacing the glitter. I found the application of Glitterbox a bit more difficult because it’s a bit thicker than the others. I learned that by working quickly, the application doesn’t cause problems 😀
I love the jelly-ish formula of Summer State of Mind. It’s gorgeous! I think all of these are great for jelly sandwiches. I’m going to try that for sure!
Overall, I was surprised by the great formula and the coverage with only two coats. Most of them aren’t completely opaque, but I like them this way. If you prefer full coverage they can be easily worn over your favorite base color 😉

These new shades are now available through Lauryn’s Etsy shop for €6,84 / $9.00 each (full size).
