piCture pOlish: Paradise – Collaboration Shades

Now this is an amazing and unique polish! Liz from Liquid Jelly and piCture pOlish created this stunning collaboration shade: Paradisepicture polish paradise1picture polish paradiseParadise is an almost metallic base packed with fine duochrome shimmer that shifts from green to blue. The pink holographic glitter and the purple glitter make this polish very sparkly. The formula is great. I used two coats without top coat. In some lightning it appears to be a little textured because of the glitter. Appearances can be deceptive! The glitter settles nicely into the polish.

The pictures below are taken in direct sunlight.picture polish paradise bottleshotIt is so amazing to see how the colors and glitter are so perfect together. Lovely combination ha?!picture polish paradise - sun1picture polish paradise - sunOverall I really like this polish. I don’t think I have anything like this in my stash. What do you think?

Paradise is available at piCture pOlish, Llarowe and Pretty Polish.

piCture pOlish: Mask-a-rade

It’s time for another stunning polish by piCture pOlish, Mask-a-rade! “Look beyond the sparkle”.picture polish maskarade1Mask-a-rade is a clear base packed with multichrome glitter that show all the colors of the rainbow. This is two easy coats of Mask-a-rade over a black base plus top coat (Seche Vite). It has the same consistency as Ozotic 528. The difference is that Mask-a-rade has multicolored multichrome glitter that shows all the colors of the rainbow, while Ozotic 528 has multichrome glitter that shifts from purple to pink and teal to blue. Gorgeous ha?! 😀picture polish maskarade2Psshhht! did you know that piCture pOlish has two great value deals available online everyday? Make sure you don’t miss it! 😀

piCture pOlish: Monroe

“A classic Hollywood icon”… Monroepicture polish monroe1This stunning deep red jelly base with scattered holographic shimmer is called Monroe. What a fabulous name don’t you think? This was love at first sight. Three of my favorite things in one bottle, red, jelly and holo. The formula is perfect. Drying time is, like every jelly, average. I used two easy coats of Monroe plus top coat (Seche Vite). picture polish monroe

I have a few polishes in my stash from the same (scattered/glitter holo) family as Monroe, so I did a little comparison to see if there are similarities. Let’s take a look:comparisonNo dupes here! Monroe has the most similarities with OPI’s Extravagance. They both have a very fine holographic shimmer. Color wise: Monroe is a deep blood red while Extravagance is more a rich purple. Zoya’s Blaze is way brighter than Monroe. And Zoya’s Aurora has more holographic glitter instead of fine shimmer.

What do you think of Monroe?

piCture pOlish: Jealousy

Jealousy by piCture pOlish is a bright green glitterbomb! Are you a fan of green? Then you really need to add this to your stash! See it for yourself:picture polish jealousy

The formula is on the thick side because of the large quantity of glitter. That doesn’t gave me any problems with the application. It gives amazing coverage! And… it is not gritty! I used two easy coats and topped it off with one coat of Seche Vite.

piCture pOlish: Warning

This gorgeous polish by piCture pOlish is called Warning, which is really hard to describe. It’s a sheer lavender jelly-ish base with very small multi colored glass flecks and blue shimmer. picture polish warningI used three coats to get full opacity. As with Violet Femme (earlier swatched here) I didn’t found it necessary to use top coat since it has a gorgeous shine by itself 🙂 The formula of this polish is fine and easy to work with. I waited a while between each layer to prevent dragging. I think this would also look stunning layered over a black base.picture polish warning1piCture pOlishes are 3-free and NOT tested on animals!
