Here’s a squishy combo for you guys:This is three thin coats of Ambrosia by Ninja Polish which is a pink jelly. I’ve added one coat of The Ood by Llarowe and topped it with top coat. I love how these turned out. I’ll definitely see me wearing this combo during Summer 🙂What do you think of this combo?:*
Here’s an oldie but goodie for you. Sugar Plum Fairies by Llarowe is part of last years Xmas/Hanukkah Collection. I am in love with the pink and blue glitter in this one. The formula is great. I used two easy coats for full opacity and topped it with one coat of HK Girl top coat by Glisten & Glow.I believe this collection is discontinued but it is still available at Hypnotic Polish.
Have a great start of the week and don’t forget… stay polishes 😉
Let’s begin the weekend with some color shifting glitter! Here’s 2% Butterscotch Ripple by Indigo Bananas:My photo’s don’t do this polish justice. It is so much prettier in real life. This is a plum (crelly I think) base jam packed with color shifting glitter in mainly green-gold. I love it!
I used three thin coats plus top coat here but I think you can get away with just two. And one more…I’ve found this on Indigo Bananas’s website but they are also available at other stockists though.
Today I have a creation of a new to me indie brand to share with you. Il Etait Un Vernisis a French indie brand founded by two friends. Their formula is vegan and 5-free 🙂
I picked up Light Box at Hypnotic Polish:Light Box is described as a black scattered holographic polish with (blue) color shifting mylar flakes. The blue flakes made me pick this one. It’s so pretty! The formula is on the sheer side but three thin coats, as shown here, will give you full coverage. I’ll definitely will be looking for more polishes of this brand. They are available at their website and at Hypnotic Polish.
Have you tried Il Etait Un Vernis yet? And what do you think of Light Box?
Remember my post of Mars Escapade by Polished by KPT? View it here.
Another thermal polish from the Cosmic XOdus Collection is A Dream Within A Dream:Such lovely girlie colors! I used three thin coats plus top coat here.
When you have shorter nails you can totally rock thermal polishes too! On shorter nails the main color will be the ‘warm’ color, in this case lilac. It’s so much fun to see it transform into another color when for example washing your hands or taking a shower. And the weather has a great impact on these kind of polishes too. I always struggle capturing the transition when it’s cold (or warm) because I take my photo’s outdoors. See how fast my hands get cold in the photo below:I can take a million pictures of thermal polishes. It’s so much fun 😀
Today I have Hooligans from the An Ode To Bruno Collection by Llarowe to show you:This is a lovely multi chrome polish with silver shimmer. I used two coats for full coverage and topped it with one coat of HK Girl top coat by Glisten & Glow. This collection is limited edition and I believe that it’s no longer available. See you next time! :*
Stay polished 😀
In the post where I showed you Fuck Off & Dye and Matte is Murder by ManGlaze I told you that I immediately fell in love with not only their matte polishes but also their awesome labels and polish names. So here I am again with two other ManGlaze’s!For this mani I used three coats of Mayonaisse as my base color. This is a matte white polish. It’s a little harder to work with than the others that I’ve tried. White polishes are often a struggle, glossy or matte so I’m fine with that. You need to work fast to avoid streaking and give the layers a bit more time to dry before adding the next one. Then I used a thin nail art brush (striper) and Hot Mess to create a waterfall effect. I believe this one was made to be paired with Mayonaisse but I’m not sure about that. Silver sparkles everywhere. Awesome! What do you think of matte white polishes? And how about this combo?
Last year I fell in love with The Mighty Red Baron by Llarowe. This Valentines I fell in love again but this time with the darker version of TMRB called Love, Actually. Same awesome formula and gorgeous depth as TMRB but a darker hue of red. This is two coats. Amazing! Just for fun I sponged on some When Monkey’s Fly by OPI.This is part of the limited edition Valentines Trio. I’m not sure if it’s still available. If I were Leah Ann I’d definitely add this one to the permanent collection. I bet this is (going to be) super popular. LOVE!
