Winter or Summer, snow or no snow… I am sporting a hot neon pink polish!
Meet For The Love Of Lisaby Hare Polish:This is described by Hare Polish as a neon pink jelly packed with neon pink glitter in several shapes and sizes, a smattering of twinkling iridescent purple squares, gold flakies and purple shimmer. Lovely! I used three thin coats plus top coat.Would you wear neon polishes in the Winter? 😀
Today I have another El Corazon polish to show you. This is On Shopping (05) from the Fashionista Collection (Kaleidoscope range). What a lovely soft color! It’s a lilac jelly with small white hexes and bigger white hexes. Formula wise I’ve had some problems in the beginning. First I used two ‘regular’ coats plus top coat but I wasn’t satisfied with the outcome. I’ve had some bald spots and the glitter didn’t spread easily. Then I used three thin coats, applied with a light hand and voila. So my advice: for these kind of polishes you better use three thin coats than two ‘regular’.
Overall I really like the combination of a soft color with white (matte) glitter.
Good to know: this polish is 5-free! Way to go El Corazon 😀
Also, the polishes from this collection are now ON SALE at Hypnotic Polish (along with many other polishes). Hurry though because the sale ends today at 23:59 CET.

I am so so sad that Rhonni, the founder of Ninja Polish has closed the business 😦
I’ve been searching for some of my lemmings for a very long time but most of them are nowhere to be found. Every now and them I search the web to see if I can find some of them. Most of them are being sold by ridiculous prices. I mean, I am dying to add more Ninja Polishes to my collection but I am not paying $75.00 for one polish. You?
I hope Ninja Polish will return some day!
That being said, I am now the proud owner of Alexandrite! For real! Woo hoo! I found it on Ebay a while back. I’m not the biggest fan of auctions on Ebay because it’s so much stress keeping up with the time and make sure you bid on the exact right second. But for this one I sat tight behind my laptop and eventually won it. Score! Look! You can tell what all the fuzz is about, right? Mind blowing! This is one coat over black undies. Check out the bottle!*gasp* Please come back soon, Ninja Polish![end of drooling session]
For the ‘vampy’ theme of the ‘The Never Ending Pile Challenge’ I picked Bloody Returnby ANNY and Sardonyx by Models Own:Bloody Return is a dark red crelly with a nice formula. I started with two coats and waited for it to dry completely. Then I used nailvinyls and added Sardonyx on the tips of my nails. I ended up liking the rubber-isch look of Bloody Return so I didn’t add top coat.
‘Use as many untrieds in one mani as you can’, was one of the themes of the ‘The Never Ending Pile Challenge’. I wanted to do a splatter mani but after five fails I gave that up (for now). So I ended up combining three out of four of the Street Artist Collection by Maybelinne (Color Show) over white undies (ANNY What Else):These three are all top coats with various sizes black hex glitter plus blue, green and orange glitter. Boom Box Black (black and green) Alley Attitude(black and blue) Urban Vibe (black and orange).
I used a matte top coat by Wet n Wild to finish it off. I like how this simple mani has such a great effect due to the color combination and the matte top coat. :*
Personally, I’m not a huge fan of glitter. Say what? Yes, it’s true. I do like glitter toppers or glitter in a jelly base on occasion though. This black/white glitter topper caught my attention while hunting for new colors. This is called Black Dress and White Tie (101 Dalmations) by Essence. It’s a mix of black hex glitter, two sizes white hex glitter and fine silver shimmer in a clear base. The formula is great and the glitter spreads nice and even. No fishing or re-placing required. I’ve layered this over a gradient for which I used Off To Miami! and Naughty And Pink!, both also by Essence. The formula of these two is nice and covers in two easy coats.
I’m so excited to share this with you guys! The sweetest Julie, a.k.a. Cheeky Diva surprised me with a-m-a-z-i-n-g nail mail, including the Disney Villains Collection by E.L.F. Cosmetics.
