Galaxy nails, don’t you just love them? I can never get enough of them and could stare at photo’s all day. The best part is, it isn’t difficult do do. Instant Galaxy by Enchanted Polish just needed to be part of a galaxy mani:😀 So simple, but absolutely mesmerizing. For this mani I applied one coat of Instant Galaxy over a back base. Once that was dry I used a make up sponge to apply Lean by Cirque (purple) followed by Nympho, also by Cirque (pink). Lastly I added some white dots and finished with top coat. What do you think of these?
Today I have a kind of galaxy look to show you. And the best thing is, it’s super easy to create 🙂For this mani I used Liquid Leather by China Glaze as a base. When that was dry I used a sponge to randomly dab the following polishes on my nails, all by El Corazon: Magic Heart of Ocean(423/576) Magic Attraction (423/554) Magic Tenderness (423-558)
To create an even more galaxy look I topped this with the large hologram top coat (421h/25), also by El Corazon. What do you think of this galaxy look?
I love galaxy manicures! They never get out of fashion and there are so many different ways of creating a galaxy on your nails.
I finally have better lightning so I found myself filming again 🙂 Yay! Here’s the tutorial I made for these galaxy nails. A step by step guide and a list of which products I’ve used is listed below.
A tip before we start: I like to use cuticle oil before painting my nails. That way your cuticles won’t suffer that much when cleaning up with acetone.
Use a base coat to protect your nails and wait for it to dry.
Paint your nails with a black polish and wait for it to dry.
Use a small piece of a sponge and tweezers to sponge the first color on your nails. you really don’t have to think much about where you sponge your colors. Randomness has the prettiest outcome if you ask me 😉
Repeat step 3 with the other colors and wait for it to dry a bit.
Add a holographic top coat for extra sparkling.
(If desired) Add a coat of fast drying top coat for a long lasting result.
Clean up with a small (eye liner) brush and acetone or nail polish remover.
Treat your cuticles with a few drops of cuticle oil and you’re done!
