I’m back with a blobbicure for today 🙂 The purple base is Power To The Purple by Lacquester, which is much brighter in person. This polish is so camera shy! The pink polish is the gorgeous Nympho by Cirque. My favorite colors in one mani. I’m happy with the final result. What do you think of these?:*
Today I have a matte look to share with you.I started with two coats of Nympho by Cirque. Once that was dry I used a piece of saran wrap to apply tiny bits of Lean, also by Cirque. The stamping design is created with MoYou ProXL plate 20 and Mundo de Unas stamping polish in white. For top coat I used a matte top coat by Wet n Wild.
There are lots and lots of polishes on my never ending wishlist. Among many others I’ve been dying to have all (yes, all!) unicorn polishes by Lacquer Lust. And what better way to score my first with the amazing Summer Fest Collaboration Trio by Cirque, Serum No. 5 and Lacquer Lust?! Of course I needed to have it 🙂
The three polishes came in the cutest packaging with some candy included. No photo’s of that, sorry… I ate it all 🙂
On to the polishes… First up Untz Untz Untzing Unicorn by Lacquer Lust:Can you see why I absolutely need to have all unicorn polishes? Amazing! This is three thin coats plus top coat.Next up is Plur by Serum No.5. We all know Serum No.5 is famous for their amazing glow in the dark polishes, right? This one is no exception. Sadly, I couldn’t get a proper glow in the dark photo to show the glow. But not to worry, head over to Emily’s blog for a glow shot 🙂This can be layered over white undies but I decided to try it on its own. Shown is three coats plus top coat.Lastly I have Kandi Flip to show you, Cirque‘s contribution to this trio:What a perfect color for Summer! The formula is lovely. I applied three thin coats plus top coat but I think you can get away with two more generous coats. This has some holographic particles running throughout which refuses to show up on camera 😦 What do you think of these? Any favorites?
This trio is available at Hypnotic Polish.
Have you spotted Cirque‘s Vice Collection yet? Super bright, neon and holo are the keywords of this fantastic collection. There are five bright creme shades to choose from plus a holographic top coat. If I may say so myself I think I’ve been a good girl by picking just three out of the six (*patting myself on the shoulder*). I went with my fave colors, purple, pink and blue. But to be fair, if there also was a red one, I’d pick that one up too 🙂
Enough with the rambling… on to the polish!
I created this water marble design with Nympho (pink), Lean (purple) and Miami-Dade (blue). I applied a white polish as my base to brighten up the colors. I re did the nail of my ring finger three times and eventually gave up and added some dots on the spots that didn’t turned out the way I wanted. Yes, water marbling can be a huge pain in the behind, not gonna lie. I do like how these turned out. I see myself using these polishes on a regular base. The formula of all three was great, at least for what I’ve experienced so far. The pink and purple dry a bit dull so make sure to apply a top coat for a glossy finish.
Any thought about these? :*
Hi again 🙂
I’m back with another polish from Cirque. Dear Dahlia was on my wishlist for quite a while and when I saw it was sold out almost everywhere I needed to hunt it down before it was gone forever. This has a gorgeous green/gold shimmer. I’ve had a hard time capturing it on camera but you can see it better from the bottle shown above. The formula is jelly-like and required three coats for full coverage.
You can never go wrong with black and white, can you? For this mani I used a combo a grey, white and black polishes:For my index I applied two easy coats of New Moon by Cirque. My pinky shows three thin coats of Hatch, also by Cirque. The gradient on the nail of my ring finger is made with both New Moon and Hatch. And lastly I created a water marble design by using the same colors and added Cosmos (423/508) by El Corazon. For a smooth and shiny finish I applied one coat of top coat. I’m happy with the outcome of this sort of mix match 🙂 What do you think?:*
Finally I managed to get my hands on NYFW by Cirque. Such an awesome blue hue! And while I was at it I also picked up one of the shades from the new The Awakening Collection, Hatch. For this mani I used three thin coats of both NYFW and Hatch plus nail vinyls. While I do have more Cirque polishes I’ve just now discovered the lavender scent of this polishes. A bit research taught me that Cirque uses essential oils in their formulas. It still smells like nail polish but it has a subtle scent of lavender while applying. Isn’t that just lovely! Enjoy the Easter weekend! I hope you all have a blast! 😀
