Mac: Richly Endowed – Heirloom Mix Holiday Collection

Here’s a simple but fun Christmas-y mani for you!
This is three thin coats of Richly Endowed from the Heirloom Mix Collection (LE) by MAC. What a gorgeous red! For the white snow-y french tip I’ve used a dotting tool and Hattrick! by Essence. And lastly, for some sparkle… I’ve applied one coat of Silver Lining (available at my shop) on my accent nail. For some reason this flakie topper keeps looking more gold in photo’s while it is definitely silver in real life!

Wishing you all a lovely Holiday season and a fantastic 2015! May your wishes all come true! :*

DAY 24 Advent Calender Nail Challenge: Re-create a Holiday mani

Sorry guys, for my lack of Rudolph mani that I was suppose to do yesterday! Due the Holiday preparations (last minute gifts, grocery enz.) I didn’t manage to do another mani. Oh.. and thanks to the spokes of my wheelchair I broke a corner of the nail of my index finger. Ugh! Glad it’s my right hand though.
Although it doesn’t count for this challenge, here‘s my Rudolph mani that I’ve made a while back.

Todays challenge of the Advent Calender Nail Challenge is Re-create a Holiday Mani.
Again, due the lack of time, here’s my 10 minute mani (pheeewww) of today:

DAY 21 Advent Calender Nail Challenge: Watermarble

Day 21 of the Advent Calender Nail Challenge: Watermarble, one of the things I love to do 🙂 A big mess, but a lot of fun to do. As always, even though I taped my fingers very well, I still managed to get polish all over my fingers up to my knuckles!
After a good clean up, this is the final result:watermarble. If you look closely you can see that I had an airbubble halfway my accent nail.

I was planning on adding a silver polish to the mix, but that dried way to quick and messed up the whole design.

One more…watermarbleColors used:

OPI Forrest My Case (green)
China Glaze Red Satin (red)

DAY 17 Advent Calender Nail Challenge: Inspired by a Christmas Movie

the grinch
Another difficult theme of the Advent Calender Nail Challenge: Inspired by a Christmas Movie. I immediately thought of The Grinch.
But pheewww this mani has cost me almost two hours! For the base I’ve used OPI’s Forrest My Case. I’ve made The Grinch and the poor scared little girl Cindy Lou Who with acrylic paint.

DAY 7 Advent Calender Nail Challenge: Ornaments

The first 6 days of the Advent Calender Nail Challenge were marked by color. But now the challenges really begin with all kinds of designs. I’m excited to see what everyone is coming up with!
Todays challenge, ornaments, was fun to do! I’ve used many many different colors including several shades from Zoya’s Ornate Collection, OPI’s Goldeneye and China Glaze’s Glistening snow (for the base). Since my first layer of top coat was eaten by all the glitters, I’ve applied two coats.
