frank-n-further by piCture pOlish instantly became one of my favorite red polishes. This is a bright red crelly with a fantastic formula. It’s so glossy! For this mani I used two coats of frank-n-further and dabbed a little bit of Columbia, from the same collection of the tips of my nails. So if you were looking for a great red crelly, look no further! :*
Another collab shade by piCture pOlish and Michelle, a.k.a. Lab Muffin is Ultra Violence:piCture pOlish describes Ultra Violence as follows:
“A jewel toned deep purple shimmer creme with shifting colours of magenta copper, purple glitters and dries textured on the nail”.
I had a hard time capturing this beauty on camera. Totally love this polish! The formula is perfect, as always. I used two coats plus top coat for my swatch above. What do you think of this beauty?
piCture pOlish polishes are available via their website or check out the list of stockists here.
As you might know piCture pOlish has teamed up again with some fantastic bloggers to create a range of lovely polishes. Because I absolutely love mint-y shades for Spring I couldn’t resist picking up Tail Feather, a collab shade with the talented Kayla Shevonne. It’s soft but somewhat bright at the same time… if that makes any sense. I used three thin coats plus top coat. Totally stunning for this time of the year, don’t you think? Enjoy your weekend beauties!
As you probably already know piCture pOlish recent collaboration shades are all holographic! Yay! Here’s Pirouette, the shade that’s created in collaboration with Tenshi no Hana:The formula is, as always perfect. This is two easy coats plus top coat. I love the soft pink base. And of course I needed to photograph it in direct sunlight:
Woo hoo! Get excited because here’s Aurora by our Aussie girls from piCture pOlish! Aurora is part of a set of five multi chrome glitter shades which are all limited edition. This particular shade has already sold out but according to the website it will be re-stocked this March. So if you didn’t managed to grab one, make sure to be ready for the re-stock. You won’t regret it, believe me (1 bottle limit per person!).
That said… here it is:Ohhh Emmm Geee!
This is one coat of Aurora over a black base. I topped it off with one coat of Seche Vite for extra shine and protection. I love to take lots and lots of pictures of polishes like this. It has so many different faces. I even spotted gold/yellow in some angles! I don’t have to explain to you how much I adore this polish, do I? Formula wise: perfection, as always.
One more bottle shot to show you the awesome-ness… pure magic in a bottle:Keep your eyes peeled for the re-stock girls (and guys)!
Aurora is, along with the other four shades of this line, available at Pretty Polish, piCture pOlish and many other stockists. Pricing: AU$13.50 / €13,50 (Aurora: AU$14.00 / €13,50).
So I scored another collaboration shade, Imperial by piCture pOlish and The Swatchaholic. Take a look at Imperial: What a gorgeous polish! It has a lovely shimmer and tiny gold glitter. Formula is great, as you’d expect from PP and it is a dream to apply. I’ve used two coats plus to coat for the photo above.
Today I have something exciting to share with you! The minute I’ve read that piCture pOlish was releasing their self designed leggings I knew I needed to get my hands on a pair. This collector’s edition just needed to be mine 😀 The leggings come with a bottle of Super Styling, inspired by the talented Sam from Fashion Polish.
Super Styling is such a gorgeous bright blue glitter polish. The glitter is very fine and therefore not rough to the touch. I’ve used two easy coats plus top coat here:While adoring this after it was dry I thought this might be similar to OPI’s Absolutely Alice but it doesn’t. Absolutely Alice has also green/gold glitter in the mix while Super Styling doesn’t.
Here’s a pic of me rockin’ the fantastic leggings! It’s fantastic! And oh so comfy 😀I got mine from Norway Nails. You can also get it at the piCture pOlish website here.
Note: I’m a petite woman and usually wear small sized leggings. This is a medium size and it fits perfectly! It’s stretchy and therefore so incredible comfy.
Tell me… what do you think of these leggings and polish?
A while back I finally got my hands on another lemming, Hypnotic by piCture pOlish. I got this from a blogsale at Simply Polish. Thanks so much Mariska! I’m so happy to finally have this in my stash 😀Continue reading →
It’s that time again… Halloween inspired mani’s everywhere! I love it 😀 I kept mine simple. Vampire by piCture pOlish is a perfect vampy shade for Halloween. The formula is perfect. I used three thin coats here with no top coat. This polish is extremely shiny by itself! For my accent nail I chose Don’t Pretzel My Buttons by OPI as my base color. I made the ‘dripped blood’ with Vampire:What’s your favorite design and polish for Halloween?
Now this is an amazing and unique polish! Liz from Liquid Jelly and piCture pOlish created this stunning collaboration shade: ParadiseParadiseis an almost metallic base packed with fine duochrome shimmer that shifts from green to blue. The pink holographic glitter and the purple glitter make this polish very sparkly. The formula is great. I used two coats without top coat. In some lightning it appears to be a little textured because of the glitter. Appearances can be deceptive! The glitter settles nicely into the polish.
The pictures below are taken in direct sunlight. It is so amazing to see how the colors and glitter are so perfect together. Lovely combination ha?!Overall I really like this polish. I don’t think I have anything like this in my stash. What do you think?
