Koh: Magnetic

Ola lacqueristas!

Today I like to show you another Christmas present (yes, I’m spoiled ;)). Here’s Magnetic by Koh. It is part of their Galaxy collection which consists of six gorgeous metallic-isch shades with a hint of duo chrome. Magnetic is a bright fuchsia with hints of purple shimmer which gives it a very slight color shift. The formula is great, as with all Koh polishes that I’ve tried. It is extremely shiny and doesn’t necessarily need a top coat. This is two coats plus top coat:¬†koh - magneticAs you all probably know by now I’m a pink/purple/red girl. So this shade is perfect ūüėÄ

:* Cya soon!

Koh Love Forever – Love Story collection

Remember my post about Koh’s new collection called Love Story?
Here’s Love Forever, a deep berry purple cream that gets opaque in two easy coats. It’s a bit more plum in real life than the pictures show.koh love foreverI’m in love with this shade. I think that it suits my light skin tone ūüôā It’s not that unique though. After swatching I immediately thought of OPI’s Casino Royale from their James Bond Collection. Here’s a comparison:koh love forever vs opi casino royale
Love Forever is more plum while Casino Royale is more red. If you already have Casino Royale I think you don’t need Love Forever. What do you think?

Koh Skinny! – Fantasy Collection 2012

First: Happy Thanksgiving to my friends at the US and Canada!

Skinny! by Koh is one of the limited edition polishes from their Fantasy Collection. It’s a orange shimmer which gets opaque in two coats. The formula is slightly on the thick side, but that didn’t gave me problems with the application.

The picture below is taken under a lamp that directly shows the beautiful shimmer.

Koh Matt!

My sweet sister got me this awesome black matte polish by Koh. It’s opaque in just one coat! For real! ūüôā I’ve seen lots of matte polishes that are streaky which I hate, so I was a bit restrained with my enthusiasm. Surprisingly there was no single sign of streaking! Whoohaah! I love it!¬†I’ve created a ‘netting’ pattern with some top coat. I think this turned out pretty cool!
