Esmaltes Da Kelly: Phoenix

Hands in the air for a new to me indie brand: Esmaltes Da Kelly. The mastermind behind this indie brand is Kelly Cristina from Brazil. This brand got my attention the minute I saw Ladybug at Llarowe. That one is on my wishlist ever since. I hope it will be restocked anytime soon. I went ahead and ordered some other ones that looked o so gorgeous.
This is Phoenix:esmaltes da kelly - phoenix 1I can’t even begin to describe this polish. It’s described as a magenta base but I really can’t see that, at least not in my bottle. If I search for swatches I definitely see magenta. Of course that was the reason why I went for this one. Gotta love my pink/purple hue’s. Nevertheless this is a super pretty polish! I used three thin coats plus to coat here.
Another thing that I noticed… these polishes don’t contain stainless steel mixing balls. This one was settled when it arrived. I’ve let it sit upside down for a while and that ‘problem’ was solved. The other two polishes that I bought are more loaded with glitter which makes mixing harder without mixing balls. I just added two of my own so for me it isn’t a big issue but I can imagine that it’s a bit difficult to mix them without the mixing balls. esmaltes da kelly - phoenixAll Esmaltes Da Kelly polishes have a black fabric ribbon on the cap. So cute!

Ps. If you spot Ladybug anywhere, please let me know! :*

You can find them at Llarowe, Color4Nails and DRK Nails.
