Catrice – Celtica Collection

catrice - celticaCatrice recently released their Celtica Collection which consists of three shimmer polishes and one cream:
catrice - celtica bottlesHalfway swatching these I got mixed feelings about them, with the first two at least. I don’t know what it is. Maybe I still can’t get used to the mega wide rounded brush. I dunno! When the formula is fantastic this brush will work perfectly, I’m sure. Personally I think that that might be the reason why I have mixed feelings about some of these. There is hardly clean up necessary after applying, which is great!
catrice - brushLet’s take a closer look at the swatches:

LOVEnder, a pale grey hue with fine silver shimmer. This was was a little tricky to apply. I’ve had minor brush strokes that totally evened out with a top coat. This is two coats plus top coat:catrice - LOVEnderParalilac, a dusty mauve hue packed with fine shimmer. Lovely shade and easy to apply. I’ve used two easy coats plus top coat for the photo below.catrice - paralilacPeach & Harmony, a lovely peach-y polish with fine orange shimmer. I needed two and a half coats to reach full opacity which resulted in slight streaky-ness. The top coat gives a smooth and even finish though. catrice - peach & harmonyThe only cream in this collection is Pinkadoxa, and it’s hot pink! Yay! This might be close to OPI’s Hey Baby!. I didn’t compare the two but from the first look, they look quite similar. Formula wise I prefer Hey Baby! The formula of this one is good and it coverage in two coats. This is two coats plus top coat:catrice - pinkadoxaWhat do you think of these? Any fave’s?

Thanks for stopping by! :*

  2. I’m not the biggest fan of Catrice polishes, so lucky for me these are not my colors at all!
But I do love the mauve one on you.
