ANNY has recently released a new collection, Best Friends in Town, Girls in the City. This collection consists of five creamy shades and one shimmer. Today I have swatches of all six polishes to show you. First of all, take a look at the cute ribbons with tiny little ANNY polish bottles attached:Swatches and review after the jump!
All swatches have a base coat and a top coat (Seche Vite).
The only shimmery polish of this collection is Little sister, a nude-isch hue with fine shimmer throughout the formula. It’s such a shame that my camera couldn’t pick up the shimmer. It’s lovely! The formula is on the thin side but easy to work with. I used three thin coats here.Onto the creams!
Girls’ day, another neutral shade of which I’m not sure if it suits my skintone. Also, this is another shade that I believe we have seen before. This is very thin and watery. Therefore its a little bit tricky to apply. I used three coats to reach full opacity. How do we call this kind of color? Blue, purple and gray š Quite dusty right? This is Friends forever. It dries darker on the nails than how it appears in the bottle. This could be the lighter version of Essie’s Smokin Hot. The formula is great. I used two easy coats here:
Kiss you is my favorite from this collection. What a lovely shade of red ha! Formula wise it’s the same as Friends forever above. This is also two coats:
For women only, a bright medium blue cream. This one immediately reminded me of Pool girl also by ANNY. I should compare them and see if they’re dupes. This one is highly pigmented and almost a one coater! The formula is thicker than the others of this collection, but nothing problematic. I used two coats here:
Deep in love has the same high pigmentation as For women only and is formula wise the same. Could this be a dupe of A Roll in The Hague by OPI? Maybe this is slightly lighter than A Roll in The Hague…
All in all I think this collection mostly consists of shades that we probably already have seen before. I see possible dupes almost everywhere! What do you think?
And if you want to see comparisons, please let me know! š
*ANNY polishes are exclusively available at Douglas stores.

Beautiful collection! I like Friends Forever and Deep in Love. I’d like to see a comparison of Deep in Love with other polishes, as I love orange and coral! š

I think the blue/purple/grey one is a dusty blurple for me š
And the pale beige one does suit you very nicely!!
