Let’s jump right into the swatches!
All swatches have a base coat, two coats of color and a top coat (Seche Vite).
First up: Nude & Rude, a light beige nude cream with ultra fine shimmer. I thought this was going to be very streaky, but it turned out not as bad as I thought. I applied the second coat ‘flowing’ without to much pressure. My favorite of these five is Wheels On Fire, a lovely pink with very subtle shimmer. The formula of this one is great.Green Days, a light green green with shimmer. The first coat was sheer and a little streaky, but the second coat made it completely opaque. The Salmon Dance, a dusty light pink cream with fine shimmer. As with Nude & Rude, I applied the second coat flowing to prevent streaking.Blue Highway really stands out from this collection if you ask me. A dark blue shimmer among soft shades? It is lovely! The blue and purple shimmer makes this a true beauty. It is very pigmented. The formula is on the thin side, comparing to the rest. Not runny or anything, just something to keep in mind while applying. Final thoughts:
I think this is a pretty collection. The blue one really stands out. I was expecting (a lot of) streaking with the soft shades, but it wasn’t so bad as I thought. Comparing to some other Catrice polishes that I’ve tried, the formula of these is pretty good. Sadly, my pictures doesn’t show the shimmer very well. It isn’t very visible on the nails either, at least with some of them. Pretty shades!
