Here’s my striping tape adventure! I started this mani with two coats of China Glaze’s Liquid Leather and a top coat (Seche Vite). After that was completely dry I created a pattern with (a lot of!) striping tape (one nail at a time), used a thick coat of Ozotic 506 and immediately removed the striping tape. I finished with another coat of Seche Vite and voilà!
This mani has cost me a few hours! I love the result! What do you think?
If you’re thinking of creating such a mani, I advise to cut up A LOT of striping tape before you start. I know that you can’t tell how much you need before you start, but it’s annoying to find halfway the mani that you have to little (I know ;))
Oh and stay tuned for an exciting announcement from myself and Mommy Loves Nail Polish!

😀 You made me smile with all your nice comments. Thanks sweetie! You are too kind! I’m not a prof nail tech, just a girl that loves nail polish and nail art 😀
🙂 I learn from you every day 🙂
Ahwww 😀
So pretty! I’ve just ordered my very first striping tapes, I can’t wait to use them!

Oh my such a gorgeous mani! I love taped mani’s.
Thanks so much! Took a while, but the result is worth every minute 😉
I love how you used the tape! It’s really creative and pretty!
Thanks!
Love the color combo. I also love how you changed the pattern on every nail. Amazing!
😀 Thanks so much!
I love this nail design! The colours all go so well together
Thanks!
This is all-caps level AWESOME!
Wow! Thanks sweetie! You made my day 😀
Stunning!!! You need to get paid for the work you can do on nails – you are awesome! (you don’t work with nails, do you?)
That is so sweet hunni! Thanks!
I don’t ‘work’ with nails other then my own, family and friends… and oh yeah ‘nailwheels’. So, it’s such a nice thing to say!
You are a sweetheart, but you knew that already right? 🙂
If you lived here, I’d paid you to do my nails 🙂 Have you considered adding a tutorial section to your blog?
Ahwww 😀
Yes I thought about that. I have received a couple of requests to do that. I’m gonna try to make a video this weekend. Exciting! If that doesn’t work for me, then I should make tutorials by photo’s I guess!
For sure! I love your creations!
WOW! This looks amazing!! The duochrome with the black was a great idea. I like your designs too!
Thanks so much!
The words have yet been invented to describe how amazing this!! It’s beyond awesome hunni!
Sorry! That’s meant to say ‘the words have NOT yet been invented…’ I really need to learn to check my typing
LOL! I know what you meant hun! Thanks 😀
wow this took my breath away. I need to invest in some striping tape
Thanks so much 😀 It took quite a while, but I like how it turned out.
You can find striping tape -for example- here on E-bay for just $ 1,43 (10 colors, free shipping) 😀
great thanks
I really love this! Great job!
Thanks!
This came out so beautiful! Just stunning…and even if I did have a good thin nail art brush (which I do have)…my hand would never be able to do the lines as straight as striping tape gives.
Thanks so much! I find striping tape so great because you will get such clean crisp lines 😀
Very nice!
I love all of these stripey nails that are around just now!
Me too! I’ve seen a lot stunning tape mani’s lately!
oh my goodness this is absolutely gorgeous! I love this manicure!!
Thanks so much!
I know it’s really modern at the moment to use all that sripes, but if you have a good thin nail art brush (like i do now *wink wink*) you don’t need stripes at all! 😀
Really nice mani!!
It is! Tape mani’s are everywhere 😀
Hope you find the brushes usefull hun!
I sure will 🙂 I’ll let you know.
