Max Factor Fantasy Fire

max factor fantasy firemax factor fantasy fire bottleFantasy Fire by Max Factor is hard to describe. It’s a very sheer purple based shimmer which is best layered over blue or purple. A very very tiny bottle filled with awesomeness 🙂 Here I’ve layered one coat of Fantasy Fire over two coats of Nfu Oh #JS29. Some of you may know this as a dupe of Clarins 230, which is currently being sold on Ebay for crazy amounts of money starting $44,95 up to $134,95. Are you kidding me? If you, like me, are not planning on paying such an outrageous amount: Fantasy Fire is available for €5,07 😀

    • You make me blush with all your kind comments! You’re such a sweetheart. Thanks so much! I’m flattered! I’m gonna add did to my “to do list” right away!

Ps.: I don’t have studio lights. Unless otherwise stated: All my pictures are taken in daylight with my Nikon camera that my boyfriend got me for Christmas 😀

  2. I read on one guy’s (gentleman mani holic) blog that MaxFactor (including this one) are now available in the US? Not sure where. I thought ALL of MaxFactor had pulled out of the US market – but maybe they are back again? I did get 2 bottles of FF that a friend picked up for me when they went over for a trip. I have Clarins 230 from before it really hit which was before many folks were even blogging about polish (or anything)…but like many folks my bottles of Clarins turned – they are all a rusty orange now and don’t have the same effect…this is not a 100% dupe but it’s close.

    • I’m not sure if it’s available in the US.
Nice to hear that it’s not a 100% dupe. I’ve read about that everywhere but can’t compare them myself since I don’t have 230. It’s sad that the formula of your 230 is turned less pretty 😦
